Yesterday evening was magical at the Lands End in San Francisco. I was so happy to be out there photographing one of my favorite families. Soon to have more from this session but for now enjoy this beautiful moment captured between mother and daughter.

This lifestyle newborn session which I photographed at my client's home in Berkeley was so wonderful. This couple is from Chicago and I just moved back to the Bay Area from Chicago, so naturally we had a lot to chat about. From the moment I walked in to three hours later, we had a great time. I am always very relaxed and easy going, which I find to be so important, especially with brand new parents. It is when everyone is at ease, that magic happens.
Baby Sloane's parents just moved into a new home when she surprised them by arriving a little early. However, you could never tell because their home is beautifully decorated, including baby Sloane's nursery. With stylish decor and wonderful natural light throughout this lifestyle session was set up for success.
Sloane was so easy to photograph. Such a perfect tiny bundle with a full head of hair and chubby cheeks. I have never seen a cuter Cubs fan. Have you?

I am so excited to share this blog post with a very first family photo session I photographed since I've been back. It was a great honor to photograph beautiful Gholami family once more. I've photographed them ever since Mila and Masood were just teeny tiny babies. Now, these adorable twins are almost 5 and what a perfect opportunity to capture these special memories.
For this session we chose a convenient Refugio park in Hercules, which is right around the corner from my client's home. It was an easy choice because this family is super busy with their new business venture, Cookie Dough Parlor. If you haven't been, you must. It's the best cookie dough in the East Bay by far.
These twins have really put on the show for me this time. Photo after photo of the most adorable smiles, laughs, hugs, kisses. Gosh, I was in photo session heaven. Not only that, I had this most cheesy smile the entire time I was editing. Picking out favorites for this blog post was the hardest part of this job.
