Beautiful London !!! These are just a few of my favorites from our family photo session. It was not possible for me to narrow it down any more. I just love all of her smiles, expressions, curiosity and her playful spirit.Two years passed in a flash since I last photographed baby London. I was so happy to see her and her parents again. I remember our first session with such fondness and was so happy to be able to capture some more memories for them. We had a great time together as we explored the Old Borges Ranch after which we moved onto the adjacent open field as the sun made its way down. I would say we used the Golden Hour efficiently. Being a mom of a toddler and having to photograph toddlers is a double whammy for me. I love it. The photos can not be staged and smiles are real. Throughout this session we had a blast. We danced, rode imaginary tractors, played in the field, ran and explored. It is as honest as it can possibly be.

As I plan my move to Chicago, I feel so sad that I will miss out on my little client's growing up. This session reminded me of that.

It was such a great occasion to document my client's moment in life when there is so much joy and anticipation. Their baby girl is on the way and the wait is almost over.I loved meeting this sweet couple who moved recently from Japan and made Walnut Creek their home. I visited Japan last year and we had much to chat about during our session. Also, one of their best friends is from Croatia and knowing this always strikes a special nostalgic nerve within me. It felt as we became instant friends during our short two hours together.

For this maternity session we headed to one of my favorite locations in the East Bay, Borges Ranch. This location offers the rustic barn feel but also has beautiful fields surrounding it. Golden hour was fast approaching as we got to the last part of the session and that is when some of my favorite images were created.

I am so excited to meet this beautiful little girl in the future. Enjoy !!!

I can't believe it has been a year since I last saw little Sarah. Our first session was at a beach in San Francisco. She just turned one!  In fact, it was baby Sarah's first time at the beach.  We had so much fun discovering and playing in the sand. Fast forward one year, and we are at Stanford University but this time baby Sarah is two and she has a little baby sister.  As a child photographer it is so awesome to see my littlest clients blossom and grow.  Even at only two years old, Sarah is talking in English, Spanish and Hebrew.  I can totally see her following her parents' footsteps and being a student at Stanford one day. And gosh, how cute is her little baby sister with those huge blue eyes.

I find that best family sessions are when we all have fun. This session was no exception. We just walked around the Stanford University's campus and stopped along the way to play. At times I even forgot that I was there to do a job. I am so blessed to be able to do what I do.
