Family Photography Session at Refugio Valley Park

FLEETING MOMENTS | PRECIOUS MEMORIES

I am so excited to share this blog post with a very first family photo session I photographed since I've been back. It was a great honor to photograph beautiful Gholami family once more.  I've photographed them ever since Mila and Masood were just teeny tiny babies.  Now, these adorable twins are almost 5 and what a perfect opportunity to capture these special memories.

About the Session

For this session we chose a convenient Refugio park in Hercules, which is right around the corner from my client's home. It was an easy choice because this family is super busy with their new business venture, Cookie Dough Parlor.  If you haven't been, you must. It's the best cookie dough in the East Bay by far.

These twins have really put on the show for me this time. Photo after photo of the most adorable smiles, laughs, hugs, kisses.  Gosh, I was in photo session heaven.  Not only that, I had this most cheesy smile the entire time I was editing.  Picking out favorites for this blog post was the hardest part of this job.

I hope you'll enjoy and don't forget to stop by their shop to get some yummie sweetness.

Livermore Family Session at the Wente Vineyards

FLEETING MOMENTS | PRECIOUS MEMORIES

As you might have noticed already, Bojana Korach Photography has moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area.  I have started booking sessions and photographing and I am also doing a lots of new things behind the scenes. I am over the moon happy seeing my favorite clients with their growing kiddos again and meeting new ones as well. I will be posting my new sessions soon.

About The Session

In the meantime, I have to post this family session, which I did about a year ago at the Wente Vineyards in Livermore with my family's favorite realtor Veronica Hidalgo.  I never had a chance to write about it and now that we are looking for our new home with Veronica, it's a perfect moment to redeem myself.

Most of my work revolves around newborns, babies and small children and seldom do I have a chance to photograph families whose children are either in college or in high school.  Naturally, I jumped at this opportunity. I am a firm believer that hiring a professional photographer even when kids reach adolescence is so important. Those memories are just as precious and need to be eternalized.  Over the years, I've gotten to know Veronica not only on a professional level as she helped us buy our first home (and sell it), but also we have developed a friendship. I was so excited to photograph her family and meet her beautiful three (not so tiny) children Janel, Hannah and Aiden.  We met at the Wente Vineyards and had a great time walking around the beautiful property while capturing these precious moments. Enjoy!

Anita and Joe's Maternity and Newborn Photo Session

Fleeting Moments | Precious Memories

And there were three!  As a lifestyle photographer, I relish in documenting stories and creating memories for my clients, and I love connecting maternity and newborn sessions together into one post.  Even now, as I am writing this blog, I feel so excited because my job is essentially visual storytelling and these two sessions were like a dream. I had the pleasure of photographing Anita and Joe's maternity session and I was super excited to photograph their newborn session as well.  It is so amazing to see two people who are clearly so in love with each other embark onto their new role as parents.

About the Sessions

For the maternity session we chose the beautiful Montrose Harbor which was in full bloom at the time.  Anita looked radiant and was so comfortable in front of my camera. Towards the end of the session we walked over to the beach.  The entire session's flow was just easy.  I enjoyed getting to know Anita and Joe and was so excited to meet their little one.

My newborn sessions are usually a nice mix of classic and lifestyle. I love letting my clients enjoy their brand new baby, cuddle, kiss and hug while I, in an unobtrusive manner, photograph. On the other hand, I also like to get those close up, more classic portraits.  Catching little details, yawns and stretches is also very important to me. The details complete the story in a lot of ways. Baby Evan was just a cutie and  such a joy to photograph.

From bump to baby, this story is created with images that I took.  Such an honor.  Enjoy!
